Courtwall does offer special high quality wood floor designed for squash courts. Courtwall and its distribution partners are educated in installing CW courts under our supervising, and are able to find together with the architect and consultant the best possible technical and tylormade squash court solution for every project.

Product Specific Information:

  1. Cement plaster – 12mm chemical modified material to be installed on sand blasted poured concrete walls being very flat (+/-2mm tolerance all over the wall). Any other materials as wall is not accepted as of high potential risk for plaster cracking and delamination. In any case we cover this product only with 2 years warranty.
  2. Melamine surfaced panel system (CW system MSP) – 28mm/21mm high density panels with melamine surface. Sensitive against air humidity, and showing a Lauder ball impact sound. Available as free standing solution on a steel frame, or as solution to be installed on a wood frame on existing building walls. Long lasting, easy to clean, and maintenance free surface, covered from a 10 years warranty.
  3. Sand refilled wood element system (CW system 4.0) – today the best solution to build a squash court – the sand refill does absorb the ball impact noise. No visible seems between the elements – Courtwall does have smaller element size (270 x 160 cm compared to ASB and Courttech (600cm long elements) which makes it much more easy to handle the elements on site. Courtwall gives 10 years warranty on the structure (this does not include repainting as of extensive usage)
  4. Glass wall systems: the most common on each squash court is the glass back wall – 4 different models available depending on the project situation: 4 panel (or 2 panel) fin stabilizer back wall, 2 panel (or 4 panel) alu framed back wall without fin stabilizers. As well Courtall is today the world market leeade rin 4-sided squahs glass courts – the have a very special technology to improve visibility from spectators. This system is also available for solutions on standard courts if for any reason part of the play walls shall be made in glass (e.g. a side wall)

FLOORING:

It is a fact that in 8 out of 10 tenders in Middle East you will find CANADIAN SOLID MAPLE floors specified for squash courts. This is not what a high quality squash floor shall be.
There are very special designed floors for squash (having a special open surface to absorb sweat) Junckers (22mm solid wood) or engineered floors like Boen or Hamberger are the world leading floors for squash courts. All this floors are accredited as system from the World Squash Federation WSF – and giving a high shock absorbing value being a “soft” and healthy solution for this fast game.
Maple floors are very stiff, having almost zero shock absorbing capability (as a result they do not match the DIN/EN requests on sport floors) and must be installed in squash courts without a sealer on the surface !
